The exposition contains unique brands from Rostov-on-Don, repaid by the Ukrainian trident, an indication that it was once a Ukrainian territory.
The museum is located in the center of the city – on the street Sobornaja, 22.
Museum wears the name of Jacob Balaban. He was a native of Vinnytsia, serving at the time in the army of the UPR. Now his son, Alexander Balaban, lives in New York. The man devoted his life to the collection of Ukrainian post stamps and to the study of his Ukrainian roots.
The opening of the museum of postage stamps on the land of his father was Alexander’s long-awaited dream.
